WIA requires that each state and local area receiving funds under the Act establish and maintain a grievance and complaint procedure for participants and other interested parties alleging violations of the Act.  The procedures must include an opportunity for a hearing to be completed within 60 days of filing the complaint or grievance.  This issuance sets forth the Region 1 procedures.
